Amano Group Board of Directors

The following individuals make up the Amano Group Board of Directors. They make key decisions on Amano Group's operations and the strategic direction of various projects.

​Alisha Lagasi
President

​In Alisha’s role as President of Amano’s Board, she coordinates board-staff relations, promotes diverse community partnerships and works on various projects. She is a researcher by profession and has a number of passions: gardening, language, travel, sustainability, and cooking and food preservation.

Jessica Moreira Maia Souto
Board Member

Jessica is an Urban Agriculturalist with over 5 years of experience in research and management. Jessica believes in helping individuals and communities access nutritious and fresh foods. She focuses on implementing actions for better urban planning and market-community-oriented measures that bring solutions to improving food safety and food security and brings this expertise to Amano’s Board. 

Christopher Pollard
Treasurer

​Biochemist, business analyst, public servant. Christopher has been involved in volunteer/social enterprises since junior high school working with children with Wolfe Syndrome. More recently he supports the Ottawa Distress Centre, and the local arts scene by hosting jazz concerts. Christopher’s role on the board is to watchdog the pennies.

Jon Conelly 
Board Member

​Jon helps coordinate marketing towards commercial clients. Jon is passionate about the outdoors, gardening, and helping others.
